Morrieland Storm in Lamintone
Call Name: Guy Date of Birth: 13/03/2000 Breeder: Naomi Morrison Sh Ch Gayplume Fine Fettle of Kenjo X Morrieland Rhoda Hips 3:3=6 Gonioscopy: Unaffected Guy's the second Flatcoat to join the Lamintone household and he certainly tries to live up to his registered name creating a storm wherever he goes! He's a livewire constantly on the go living life to the full, but can also be the soppiest dog going when he wants to be. He loves being outside, and often takes himself for a run in the woods or swim in the pond if nobody will take him. Whilst in Leamington he loved his regular swim in the River Avon, and would often swim against the current for 200yards or more, then let the current carry him back only to start again! He now just has to be content with retrieving toys from the ponds - he sure has a tough life! Guy has a love of working, often having too much enthusiasm, but when we are able to control this he is fantastic, and is a superstar. He can fly round an agility course as if he was a collie, and his weaves - well the poles had better be glued down! His speed and enthusiasm means that he has never got round a course without elimination! Guy has also tried his hand at obedience, where he is always looking for ways to outsmart his handler, although just to prove knows how to use his brain on the only occasion he competitively did a sent test he made no mistakes and went clear (loosing no marks). Guy was shown as a youngster where he did relatively well qualifying for Crufts the two years he was shown, placing 3rd in Special Puppy in 2001. No longer competing Guy is enjoying the life of luxury getting all the attention to himself in Shropshire, and dreading the return of the 'young ones' when his peace is shattered - although he does love having his mum back! |
