June 2010
We may have had a
quite few months having not been out in the rings, however we have had a
busy time at home, and we can now introduce our newest additions Chaos
and Woody.
We are hoping to start getting out and about again in the next few months.
14/03/10
After a break of
several months we have just returned from a busy Crufts. Following a
break of several years I was back working a dog in obedience at Crufts,
where Reva was competing in the Special Pre Beginner Stakes Final. She
worked her little socks off and finished in 2nd place in what was a very
close fought top 5.
15/11/09
We went today to
Discover Dogs with Reva who was competing in the Special Pre Beginner
Stakes Semi Finals. Reva ended up coming 4th in good competition which
has Qualified her to go through to the final which is held at Crufts!
25/10/09
Having had most of
the year off Fidget, has made an appearance at 3 shows in the last 2
weeks, (Gundog Society of Wales, Joint Flatcoat Clubs and Midland
Counties). She has been in the placeing at all 3 shows in a strong Post Grad
class, including qualifying for Crufts. Thanks to her breeder Sally
Collins for showing her at 2 of the shows. Fidget is now back to being a
couch potato for a few more months.
27/9/09
Bedford and District
CS, Reva takes Best of Breed and Group 4
17/9/09
A long day at Thame
Agricultural Show but a good one, Reva won best AVNSC Pastoral from a
strong entry, and making a very rare appearance in the ring Fidget comes
out to win
her class as well.
15/8/09
Her first time in the
show ring since May and Reva takes Best of Breed and Group 3 at Thames
Valley.
9/8/09
It was over to
Bedford today with Reva for Woburn obedience show, and another win! Today she won
her last Pre Beginners class.
25/7/09
Another obedience
show for Reva and once again she stormed the rings, coming home with a
2nd in Pre Beginners and another 1st in Beginners. This means that
having only ever attended 3 obedience shows she has now won out of
Beginners! She will now be able to add the
letters Beg. Ex. at the end of her name.
12/7/09
Reva attended her 2nd
obedience show today and boy was she on fire! In Pre Beginners she
worked early on in the running order to set a cracking round only losing
1 - which was eventually beaten by 2 other dogs leaving Reva in 3rd.
There was a heat of the Special Pre Beginners class which Reva won,
qualifying her for the Semi Final at Discover Dogs in November. She was
then the last dog to work in Beginners with another cracking round and
went on to Win the class!
23/5/2009
Reva attended her
first obedience show today and we weren't disappointed by her
performance. In Pre-Beginners she worked a cracking round going into the
stays in the lead, unfortunately she broke her sit stay but despite this
still managed to be in the run off for 4th and 5th place, she enjoyed
this far too much and ended up in 5th. She also worked in Beginners with
another cracking round this time only let down by messing around on the
retrieve, other wise she would also have been in the placing's if not
won the class! Not bad for a first show and she had many positive
comments about her attitude.
