About Us

Lamintone is a small family kennel that has owned Flatcoats since 1997. Our first Flatcoat joined the family with the intention of her just being a family pet, but with the possibility that we may show her. We did venture into the show ring with her and from there we haven't looked back. Whilst she did OK as show dog, she proved to be an excellent dog for KCJO/YKC activities. Taking part in KCJO/YKC activities opened up a whole new world to us, and led to us doing agility, obedience and handling, as well as the breed ring.

Once taking part in al the various events, the second Flatcoat joined the family, and also started down the same path as 'Jess'. Due to University getting in the way we then took a break from competing, until Uni was finished. With the arrival of 'Fidget' we started to get back into the swing of things, and haven't looked back since.

For many years, we had admired the Australian Shepherd, and after a very long wait we had the arrival of our first Aussie 'Reva'. Reva has also opened a whole new world to us, and done much more than we ever hoped. Reva is just the start of our journey  with Aussies.

Being a family kennel, and as people have grown up and moved out, the dogs are now split between two homes. Some of the dogs live in Buckinghamshire, whilst the others live in Shropshire.
